Fighting Through It

I'm just back from the gym.  I just didn't want to be there today.  I'm sure you recognise the feeling.  I wouldn't have gone except that I anticipated these days and planned ahead.   I made an appointment with a trainer.  So I had to go or forfeit all that money I knew from the moment I got down on my hands and knees to do the first pushup that this would be one of the longest hours in recent weeks.  I had to fight myself for each and every second of the mountain climbers and for each toe touch I pictured how it would go down if I just told my trainer that I wanted to call it a day.  Everything was so much harder than it usually is. So I'm really proud that I got through it.  I even managed to finish on a high with some kickboxing.  I really believe that it's getting through times like these that determines how much progress you make.  The harder you have to fight, the more you earn
